Which eyelash adhesive is best for you?
Since the inception of eyelash extensions, lash artists have toiled to find an eyelash extension glue with thin consistency, perfect grab, and lasting retention—well, we imagine they have, anyway. The internet is fully stocked with blog posts on the best adhesives for eyelash extensions. But the truth is that lash extension adhesives are not one-size-fits-all, and your experience with adhesive has more to do with your environment than with the adhesive itself. So instead of telling you which eyelash extension adhesive is best, we’re going to help you decide which is best for you, and why.
Sugarlash PRO has four different adhesives. Each has its own unique properties and works best in a unique environment. All four are high quality adhesives, but not all four will work best for you.
Candylash adhesive:
Candylash adhesive is our most popular adhesive, and is incredibly thin with super strong hold. A favourite for classic lashing, Candylash is loved by artists for its quick dry time, and low-fume formula. Candylash has an optimal humidity range of 45-55% and is a great adhesive for experienced lash artists who are looking to increase speed and efficiency in their lash appointments. With the fastest dry time and strongest hold of any Sugarlash PRO adhesive, Candylash is best for experienced lash artists who are confident in their placement, and work with speed and precision.

Elite adhesive:
Elite adhesive is our most versatile adhesive. With a wide optimal RH range (20-75%), Elite works well in all types of climates and is particularly useful to have on-hand during the changing seasons. If Elite isn’t your primary adhesive, we definitely recommend it as a backup for those days when the weather is all over the place, and the humidity in your lashing space won’t settle. Elite is the best adhesive for eyelash extension artists who work in inconsistent environments, who live in unpredictable climates, and for lash artists who travel. Being slightly thicker than Candylash, Elite adhesive wicks less, and is therefore friendlier for volume lashing.

Flawless Bond adhesive:
Flawless Bond is our designer adhesive. It uses magnetic technology and nano-vibrations to grab to the lash, facilitating a deeper bond than traditional adhesives. Flawless Bond is the best eyelash adhesive for lash artists who pride themselves on amazing retention and keep a meticulous lash environment. Flawless Bond adhesive works best in relative humidity between 40-55%, so artists who live in extremely humid climates—or artists who do not control their humidity with a humidifier or dehumidifier—will have a harder time getting the best of this adhesive.

Eyelight Clear adhesive:
Eyelight Clear adhesive is in a league of its own. With the same formula and staying power as Candylash, Eyelight Clear is a perfect daily adhesive anyway—but with no Carbon Black ingredient, it’s Sugarlash PRO’s best eyelash adhesive for sensitive eyes too! Some clients experience sensitivities to the colorant in eyelash adhesive, and a clear adhesive allows these clients to continue getting lash extensions. Eyelight Clear is also our best adhesive for applying brown or coloured lashes, as it won’t show through.
