Too often as lash artists, we style with the eyes closed -- aiming for balance and symmetry from a closed eye view. This is backwards! Clients should always be styled and mapped for open eyes, front facing, animated state. Often times that means the closed eye view will look unsymmetrical, but the OPEN eye is what must remain in harmony.
