Going BIG with MEGA Volume Lashes!
It’s no secret that mega volume lash extensions is, well, MEGA — it’s a bold, bodacious look with the densest number of lashes. It makes sense that a lot of clients opt for mega volume for weddings, proms, and other special occasions where the wearer wants a little oomph.
But, according to LashPRO Educator, Debbie Vo, mega volume shouldn’t be put in the ‘only occasionally’ box. “I think there’s this idea that big lashes aren’t meant for ongoing fills. But I have a lot of clients who get mega volume lashes on a regular basis, and it doesn’t compromise their natural lashes.”

Big lashes that do no damage? We asked Debbie to dish on her top tips to keeping mega volume manageable AND impactful:
Keep it short
The misconception with mega volume is that they need to be ultra-long to get that bold look. But it’s not length that creates the darker, full sets — it’s density. By using shorter lashes, you promote more long-term wear, structured lashes, and a darker lash line. Plus, shorter lashes are less likely to cause damage.
Use a lighter diameter
To create a true mega volume set, create fans that are 6D+ — and the best way is to create them using ultra-light diameter extensions. That’s why Sugarlash PRO lashes start at 0.03mm. Again, by making the lightest possible fans (using shorter lashes), damage is far more unlikely, allowing your client to keep their set for far longer.

Make sure your adhesive works WITH you, not against you
One of the biggest frustrations when creating mega volume sets is seeing your gorgeous custom fans close up — and often, that’s due to the wrong adhesive. Use the right tools
Everyone knows tweezers are a lash artist’s best friend, and that doesn’t change when doing mega volume. Use tweezers with ultra-wise foot paddles that easily grab — and retain — larger 6D+ fans, like our cult classic V-Masters.

EVERY lash gets a fan — but they don’t all have to be 6D+
Remember — for mega volume, the majority of the lashes will have 6D+ mega fans, but they don’t all have to. For shorter, thinner natural lashes, they’ll still get a fan, but a more normal volume fan. If a set consists of 80% mega + 20% regular volume fans, it’s still overall considered a mega set.
