Top Lash Looks — People's Choice Awards 2018

On Sunday, the people chose their favourite film and television stars — and WE chose our favourite lash looks! Today, we round up the top lashes of the night.

One word: VOLUME. Danai Gurira went for the full flutter effect with dark, dense lash sets that perfectly frame her large dark eyes. The Black Panther star may have some lovely berry lipstick and fab natural hair going on too, but this look is all about those dramatic lashes.

Jeannie Mai’s cat-eye lash styling hits all the right sultry notes, with extra long lashes concentrated to the outer corners of her eyes. No surprise that the rest of this star stylist’s look is right on trend, from the 90’s-inspired frosty makeup to the J-Lo-esque high ponytail.

Does anyone do eye makeup better than the queen of the perfect lash herself? As usual, Kim K’s ultra-long, wispy top lash line and full bottom lashes swepts us away, especially paired with her signature neutral-palette smokey eye and nude lip. The original Kardashian sister topped off the whole sleek look with an Ariana Grande-style high mini pony.

Sabrina Carpenter serves us some MAJOR CAT EYE here with inky, perfectly-winged liner and short, yet impactful lashes that emphasize the almond shape. The subtle extension of her eyeliner in the inner corners to create negative space adds so much definition. Rounded out with peach tones from the lips to the cheeks, we are FEELIN' this (or should we say, FELINE this?)

Shay Mitchell is giving us a lesson on how to employ terra cotta and pink shades on the eyes and cheeks without looking consumptive. The solution? It all comes down to those long, fanned-out lashes that add a dark dimension to those highly-defined eyes.

Sometimes all a girl needs is some extra-long, wispy lashes, a strong lip, and BIG hair. Alisha Wainwright's look employed exactly these things for an impactful, classic Hollywood look. The lack of heavy liner or shadow let her lashes stand out, and her dark, berry lips ensure her face is the first thing your eyes are drawn to over her colourful outfit.
