Top Lash Looks — MTV VMAs 2019

With a history of serving as pop culture's touchstone, the MTV VMAs landed again this past Monday, and legends and up-and-comers came together to celebrate music, artistry, and diversity. But for us, all we wanna see are the LEWKS! Here are our faves:

Lizzo

Yep, along with the rest of the free world, we're OBSESSED with Lizzo, from her bangin' songs to her incredible personality. The VMAs were no exception, where Lizzo took things to an ultra-vampy level with a Jessica Rabbit-esque look complete with a bouffant and a GIANT winged eye.

Taylor Swift

T-Swizzle left the explosion of colour to her Versace blazer and went with a far more classic makeup look to compliment that effortlessly tousled shag lob — nothing ever beats a red lip and cat eye lashes.

Keke Palmer

This year's VMA's felt like an homage to the music and fashion of the 90s and early aughts — and Keke Palmer was clearly in on it. With the PERFECT bedazzled clutch in the shape of an old cell phone, Keke's look was all about the eyes. Green eyeshadow and ultra-long (but straight!) lashes let you know where she wanted your focus.

Haley Kiyoko

The starlet channeled the super-popular wet look for the VMAs red carpet. What we love is how simple she kept her makeup, opting for dewy skin and a nude lip so that her fluffy onyx lashes remained the main attraction!

Normani

Normani's latest single gives us early Beyonce vibes and we are HERE for it. What else are we stannin'? The sexy flick on the ends of her short, dense lashes that give her whole face a very sultry feel.

Missy Elliott

This is how LEGENDS do! Missy Elliott accepted her VERY well-deserved Video Vanguard award at this year's VMAs, all while rocking bright pink shadow and giant spiky lashes that demand your attention, just like the icon herself.
